About Us

CAROL CORBETT, J&C's president and a licensed insurance broker since 1993, has written thousands of contractor's, DMV, notary public, finance lender, and other bonds, in addition to handling marketing, finance, and overseeing the work of the agency's brokers and clerical staff. Prior to becoming an insurance broker, Carol was a practicing RN and recorded a popular video lecture on first aid and jobsite accident prevention that was used by many contractor’s schools.

VICTORIA KRUSE, J&C's vice president and a licensed insurance broker since 2001 and notary public since 1999, originally managed a statewide contractors' school and continually reviews CSLB publications and meeting notes for upcoming changes to contractors' licensing requirements.

JONATHAN CORBETT, a licensed insurance broker, life agent, general building contractor, and certified mediator, assists Carol Corbett with running our agency and offers mediation services to clients who want to avoid costly lawsuits and quickly settle disputes with property owners, suppliers, and other contractors.

LEONIE PICKETT manages our contractor’s bond department and writes license and contract (bid and performance) bonds as well as various other types of bonds. Leonie is assisted by Jennifer Chapman, Cathryn Moore, Chelsea Ayers, Amber Winter, Kristin Corbett, and Andrew Corbett.

ANNETTE PALMER is our insurance manager. Annette and broker/agents Ray Clark, Linda Reich, and Helen Merrell have written thousands of insurance policies for California general and specialty contractors.
