Builders' Exchange!
The Corbett family has a long association with the Sacramento Builders’ Exchange. Frank D. Corbett, a General Engineering Contractor, joined the Exchange in 1948 and served as its president in 1956. In 1971, Frank and his wife Anne opened a contractors’ license school at the Exchange and helped hundreds of individuals obtain California general and specialty contractors’ licenses.
The Corbetts opened an insurance agency at the Exchange in 1991 when their contractors’ license students complained about the high price of bonds and insurance. By shopping the market and rebating portions of their commissions, the Corbetts are often able to lower their clients’ costs by 30% or more.
